UMPIRESI wouldn’t want to be an empire. You could get hit and that might get hurt. And it would be boring. But you would get in to some get into baseball games for free. But I don’t like watching baseball so that would be boring to me. I think there really are few people that want to be a umpire.
PRESIDENT FOR A DAY
It would be awesome if I could be president for a day. I would try to promote world peace in a day. I would also try to get myself to be president for a lot longer. Then I could do lot’s more than just world peace. I would try to help world hunger. And the people in Africa.
LAST WEEK
Middle school life is fun. But we have more homework than we did in elementary school. But some of it is easier than it was then. We have better food in the cafeteria and we have more options. In middle school I have made a lot more friends. That is the best part about middle school!
UNIFORMS: LIKE ‘EM OR LEAVE ‘EM?
I would have to say leave ‘em. I think everyone should be able to chose their style. It would be better to have rules on what to wear than to have uniforms. You can say not to wear some things. But I don’t think uniforms are a good idea. People wouldn’t look different. Everybody would look the same.I think we will be better off without uniforms.

I chose my picture because I love to swim. I love going to the beach, I love swimming in the summer. When I get older I want to live by the water. But not that close so when floods my house won’t get flooded. I’d like to live in Florida so I would have nice weather all the time. But the hurricanes would be a problem. I would still be close to water. And if I don’t move I will at least have a swimming pool in my back yard.
MICHIGAN SCHOOL CUTS
I don’t think it’s not fair they cut school money more. Prices went up and that means more money to buy things. Not less. So they should be giving more money. I know Michigan doesn’t have a whole lot of money to give to schools. But they can’t cut. Soon teachers won’t be able to buy supplies they need because they don’t have enough money to buy it. So some children won’t be able to get a good education.
RED DAWN FILMED AT FITZGERALD
The new movie Red Dawn was filmed at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan. I think this might attract more people to visit Grand Ledge. I think with some people if they see the movie they might want to visit Grand Ledge. This would be good for their community. I might see the movie depending on what it’s rated. Also if the previews look good.
